According to Moonshot AI's statements, this technology can achieve up to an 80% reduction in end-to-end processing times.
Performance and Competition
The company states that Kimi K2.5 demonstrated strong performance in three agent benchmark tests: HLE, BrowseComp, and SWE-Verified. The announcements emphasize that this performance is achieved at a lower cost compared to models with similar capabilities. It is noted that the model is being compared to OpenAI's ChatGPT 5.2.

Kimi K2.5 is optimized for visual coding in addition to text-based coding. The model has capabilities for image and video analysis and can accelerate visual debugging processes.
