Ayaneo Pocket S Mini Offers 4:3 Aspect Ratio Screen for Classic Games
Ayaneo has launched a new portable gaming device called the Pocket S Mini for those who want to play classic console games in their original 4:3 aspect ratio.

Special Design for Retro Gaming Experience
A new contender has entered the competitive portable gaming device market. Ayaneo has announced the 'Pocket S Mini' model, specifically targeting players who want to experience old console games in their original formats. The device's most notable feature is its screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio, ideal for games from the CRT television era.
Technical Specifications and Pricing
The 4.2-inch LCD screen offers a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels. With a full metal body and glass front panel, the device boasts a premium build and is equipped with Hall effect joysticks, triggers, and 'crystal-textured' buttons. Powered by the Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 processor as its hardware heart, the Pocket S Mini draws power from a 6000 mAh battery.
The device is now available for pre-order on the company's website. The Obsidian Black or Ice Soul White models with 8 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage start at an early bird price of $319. The highest configuration, the Retro Power color with 16 GB of memory and 512 GB of storage, is offered for $479. When the early bird period ends, retail prices are expected to rise to a range of $399 to $559.
Although there are devices with similar aspect ratios on the market, such as the Anbernic RG405M, the Ayaneo Pocket S Mini targets a premium segment with its high-quality construction materials and technical specifications. This development could contribute to increasing diversity in the independent gaming hardware market. New releases from the independent gaming world also demonstrate the vibrancy of this market.
